SWOT Analysis

A SWOT (Strengths/Weaknesses/Opportunities/Threats) Analysis is a particularly useful process for assessing a specific problem, issue or situation and developing an effective response to capitalize upon or avoid the consequences. It can be an especially productive tool for use in strategy planning sessions as well.

With your consultant acting as your team’s facilitator and guide, the SWOT methodology will assist you in clarifying issues, identifying all of the most relevant and important information you need to frame a solution, and creating an initial approach to resolving the problem or capitalizing on the opportunity.

During a SWOT Analysis your Tyche consultant will facilitate your identification of your Contact Center’s significant and relevant:

  • Strengths – the unique competencies, competitive advantages and positive business and environmental factors framing the issue.
  • Weaknesses – the most significant vulnerabilities, limitations and constraints restricting your ability to respond.
  • Opportunities – unexpected or previously unrealized capabilities, resources and functionality that can be brought to bear on the issue.
  • Threats – the most credible and probable risks to your future success, their potential impact, and effective mitigation tactics.

The SWOT Analysis process brings an orderly, proven methodology to quickly developing viable solutions to specific problems, or to ensuring that prospective new products, services or capabilities are deployed with maximum effectiveness. It augments, not replaces, your own team’s knowledge and experience. This makes it a valuable adjunct to business or operations planning exercises as well.

The best way of effectively evaluating all the relevant information needed to solve critical problems quickly and accurately might have been unclear ….. but now you know!
